Sarah Jessica Parker’s £96 perfume slashed to less than £25

Shoppers can get a 200ml bottle of the popular Lovely Eau De Parfum for just £23.75, down from its RRP of £96.79, reports MyLondon.

Lovely opens with floral notes including lavender, bergamot, mandarin orange, and rosewood before continuing the botanical theme at its heart with patchouli, orchid and narcissus. The fragrance settles into a sophisticated base of cedar, white amber and musk.

The scent was created with French perfumers Clement Gavarry, who has worked with brands like Calvin Klein and Elizabeth Arden, and Laurent le Guernec, who created scents for Bond No.9 and Avon. 

Fans of Lovely have given it a rating of 4.6 out of 5 stars on Amazon, with one calling it “an absolute gem of a fragrance”, and saying it’s a good “work perfume and also an everyday fragrance”.

Another shopper said “it’s light and flowery which is ideal when working in the NHS”, adding that “people comment on this all the time, and because it is an EDP [Eau de Parfum] it lasts all day!”

A longterm fan, they added: “I have been buying this for 17+ years and it never fails to make me feel fab!”

“My flatmate has this perfume and I steal it all the time”, Express journalist Antigoni Pitta said, adding: “It’s truly a lovely scent, especially in warmer weather where its musky sweetness shines through”.

As the fragrance is quite light, there were a few shoppers that were disappointed with its longevity, with one saying it “disappears really quickly”. 

“I know this is an inexpensive perfume, but I’d still expect to be able to smell it on me for longer, especially as some of the reviews said the fragrance lasted all day. For me, this was certainly not true,” they wrote. 

It’s important to remember that the lasting power of a fragrance can be influenced by how it’s applied, with the best results coming from applying it to moisturised skin.
