Orlando Bloom Spends Thanksgiving With His 2 Kids After Katy Perry Split

Orlando Bloom is thankful for his family following his split from Katy Perry.

“A lot to be grateful for,” the actor, 48, wrote via his Instagram Story on Thursday, November 28, alongside a photo of him and his children: son Flynn, 14, whom he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr, and daughter Daisy Dove, 5, whom he welcomed with Perry.

The trio smiled and embraced while standing in front of an entrance of a home. The walkway was decorated with pumpkins leading up to the door.

In a subsequent snap, Bloom shared a pic of Daisy walking down a pathway that led to the beach. He also posted a picture of himself snuggling with a dog.

Earlier this year, Us Weekly confirmed that Bloom and Perry, 41, had called off their engagement after 9 years of dating. (The Pirates of the Caribbean star proposed to the singer in 2019, one year before they welcomed Daisy.)

“Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable,” a source close to the pair exclusively told Us in June. “It’s not contentious at the moment. Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.”

Amid their split, Bloom and Perry have been focused on coming together to raise their daughter.

“Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting,” reps for the former couple confirmed in a subsequent statement. “They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”

Two months later, Bloom broke his silence about the breakup.

“I’m great, man. I’m so grateful. We have the most beautiful daughter,” he said during a September appearance on Today. “You know, when you leave everything on the field, like I did in [my movie The Cut], I feel grateful for all of it.”

Bloom added, “We’re great [and] we’re going to be great. It’s nothing but love.”

Following the split, Perry has since moved on with former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau. The duo were first spotted together in July on a walk in Montreal’s Mount Royal Park before going out to dinner the same evening. Four months later, Us confirmed that Perry and the politician were an item.

“They’ve decided to be much more private about it. … They are still speaking and are very interested in each other,” one source said in October, while another added that their relationship “isn’t serious” since Perry was “extremely busy” on tour.

That same month, Perry confessed at her concert in Prague that she was dating someone new.

“This guy is trying to get me to marry him and he has a ring in his hand. No! I am dating someone else for crying out f***ing loud,” Perry told the crowd .

Bloom, for his part, has not been linked to anyone new but the actor did raise eyebrows when he posed for a photo on Halloween with Rachel Lynn Matthews, who was dressed up as Perry. The Happy Death Day star wore Perry’s blue spacesuit from when the musician embarked on a 10-minute journey to space with Blue Origin earlier this year.
