Lola Young Collapses Onstage During All Things Go Fest Performance

Lola Young collapsed onstage while performing at All Things Go in New York City on Saturday. The singer suffered a medical emergency while singing âConceitedâ and was carried offstage by a medical team.
Remi Wolf later appeared onstage, where she addressed the crowd, stating, âThat was really fââ scary.â She added, âMy friend Lola is backstage, and she is okay.â The crowd cheered in support.
A few hours later, Young uploaded an Instagram story where she wrote, âFor anyone who saw my set at all things go today, i am doing okay now. Thank you for all of your support Lola xxx.â
Earlier in the set, Young spoke about how she âhad a tricky couple of days,â adding: âSometimes life can really make you feel like you canât continue, but you know what, today I woke up and I made the decision to come here, and I wanted to be cool ⌠and sometimes life can throw you lemons, and you just gotta make lemonade.â
A rep for Young did not immediately respond to Rolling Stoneâs request for comment.
The incident came one day after Young pulled out of Audacyâs We Can Survive concert in Newark, New Jersey, on Friday night. Hours before the start of the charity show, Youngâs manager Nick Shymansky revealed on Youngâs Instagram story that he advised her not to perform as a âprotective measure to keep her safe.â
âUnfortunately due to a sensitive matter I have advised Lola Young to pull out of performing at Audacy â We Can Survive @ Prudential [Center] this evening,â Shymansky wrote. âLola is very open about her mental health and there are very occasionally days when myself and my team have to take protective measures to keep her safe.â
Shymansky ended the statement by adding, âShe is an incredible person and always takes her fans, career and performances seriously. I can only send huge apologies for the inconvenience caused.â
A spokesperson for Audacy shared their support for the singer in a statement to Rolling Stone: âWe support Lola and her mental health and wish her the very best. We thank fans for their understanding.â
Young has described her battles with mental health in the past. âItâs very important that Iâve been open about it because itâs given the leeway for other people to be open about it and the drive for other people to reach out and say how much it has helped them,â she told Rolling Stone, citing occasional episodes that have taken place in front of collaborators, and how writing through them has resulted in some of her most raw work to date.
Fridayâs canceled show comes just a week after the singer released her new LP, Â Iâm Only F**king Myself. Young had a breakout hit with the 2024 track âMessy,â and previously released the 2023 album My Mind Wanders and Sometimes Leaves Completely and the 2024 album This Wasnât Meant for You Anyway.
