Kim Kardashian Diagnosed With Brain Aneurysm After Kanye West Stress

Kim Kardashian developed a stress-induced brain aneurysm, the media personality reveals on the latest installment of The Kardashians. In the episode premiering Oct. 23, she tells sister Kourtney Kardashian about the scary medical discovery. While her doctor describes the aneurysm as “little,” in regard to the severity of the blood vessel damage, she notes that the condition was most likely caused by stress, says the reality TV star.

It wouldn’t be the first physical manifestation of stress that she has experienced. Kardashian also says that the spike in stress, which she attributes in part to her encounters with ex-husband Kanye West, also caused her psoriasis to return after she got the chronic skin disease under control.

“Last night I was like, ‘Why the fuck is this happening?’” Kardashian recalls in a preview from the episode, later adding, “I haven’t had psoriasis since I’ve gotten a divorce and it just started coming back … I felt more stressed, probably just because I had to super, super protect what I had to protect,” referring to her children.

While Kardashian acknowledges that sharing four children with West requires them to be permanently linked in some capacity, she feels less of a responsibly to respond to his ongoing controversies in any manner beyond protecting them.

“This is the first time I think one of my kids knew what was happening,” Kardashian says. “I’ve been able to hide it for so long. I always felt like I had a little bit of Stockholm syndrome to where I always felt really bad and always protected and always wanted to help and this was the first time I didn’t feel like responsibility personally.”

She adds: “It’s very confusing cause it will be all this talk on the internet that I’m keeping the kids. He’s never once called and asked. And then I’ll wake up and it’s on Twitter that I’m keeping the kids. So, it’s just like when it’s not true and not rational I just have to like… I can’t engage all the time.”
