Michael Keaton Sells Some Organic Halloween ‘Cookies’

The star of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice also plays Michael Myers’ choreographer, frustrating the film director’s vision for the horror villain
With Halloween around the corner, Saturday Night Live host Michael Keaton played a baker prepping for the occasion by showing off some cookies that he claimed resembled the bloodshot eye of a zombieâdespite many suggestions to the contrary.
Keaton, making his first SNL appearance since hosting the showâs 40th season in April 2015, showed two infomercial hosts (Mikey Day, Heidi Gardner) his creation, holding two of them up to the camera at chest height. From there, the innuendo flowed easily, with âMA-TVâ popping up on the screen after Keaton emphasized how âsoft and squishyâ and âorganicâ they are.
One potential buyer called in with a question that had the all-smiles hosts dismayed: âDo those cookies come in different ethnicities?â One order of cookies, it turned out, had recently been ordered from Pelican Bay State Prison.
Later in the show, Keaton, the star of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, took part in another Halloween-themed sketch, this time playing Beau, horror villain Michael Myersâ on-set choreographer.
Rather than encourage rigid and unhurried movements, he was a fan of Meyers (Day) showing off his dance moves, frustrating the filmâs director (Andrew Dismukes).
